firmly before closing the rnd with a sl st.

place, working into each stitch along top of
fringe and securing to the hairline, and
along the ends of rows 3 to 18 to secure to
the face.
Using yellow yarn, make a series of
running stitches along every second row of
the fringe (use pictures as a guide). Attach
flower to top of head, positioned over
starting MC of fringe.

flower to head.

face

Using black embroidery floss,
embroider mouth on face, 3 sts wide and
between rnds 6 and 7. Embroider eyes
using pictures as a guide. Eye arc should
be roughly 4 rnds wide and 2 to 3 sts tall.

not fasten off, continue on to join the legs.
From second leg, ch 3. Join to first leg by
working a sc directly into the next st on
the first leg (the st into which we made the
sl st). Mark this as first st of rnd 13.

Repeat rows 2 and 3 until reaching row
24 (a total of 11 repeats, plus an additional
repeat of row 2 to finish).
Fold work so row 24 meets row 1. Working
into both the blo of row 24 and the
starting chain, join the two ends together
with a row of 15 sc. This completes the
body of the dress. Leave working loop on
hook and continue on to add the trim.
Change to yellow
Ch 1. Working into row ends, make about
24 sc around the top edge of the dress. Sl
st into first sc to finish.
Fasten off and weave in yarn ends.
Place dress on body before attaching arms

the 1st stitch marker, 5 sc around

body to sew the body to the head, working
through all 14 sts around neck opening.
Secure to the head at least 2 rnds deep on
both front and back sections of the head.
