For long strands,

Crochet hair loosely, or if your
crochet tension is tight, then you can
use hook that 1 size bigger.
Cut the yarn long for sewing.
Flip the hair, so the wrong side facing
out, sew it to the head.
Sew the front two hair up to cover the
front of the ears. Sew the other front
two hairs by tilting them to the side as
in the photo.
